You paste in a fan's message, ask ChatGPT for a flirty reply, and get a polite paragraph about how it can't help with that. Or it helps, but the reply reads like a greeting card from your bank.
You are not doing it wrong. General AI assistants were not built for this job. Here is why, what they are still good for, and what to use for the part they refuse.
Why ChatGPT says no
ChatGPT is a general-purpose assistant used by schools, offices and families, and its content rules are written for that audience. Sexually explicit writing is restricted, and the filter is cautious: it often blocks messages that are only suggestive, because it cannot tell a working creator from anyone else.
Many creators expected this to change. In October 2025, OpenAI's chief executive said ChatGPT would allow erotica for verified adults from that December. The launch slipped to early 2026, then slipped again, and in March 2026 OpenAI said it was pushing the feature back to focus on higher priorities, with no new date. At the time of writing, in September 2026, it has not launched.
So if you have been waiting for ChatGPT to loosen up, there is no timeline to wait for.
What about workarounds?
You will find "jailbreak" prompts passed around creator forums that promise to trick ChatGPT into writing anything. We would skip them, for practical reasons:
- They break without warning. A prompt that works on Monday gets refused on Thursday. You cannot run an inbox on that.
- They break the provider's rules. Deliberately getting around the filters can get your account restricted, along with everything else you use it for.
- The output is still generic. Even when it works, it does not know your persona, your prices or your limits, so you rewrite most of it anyway.
What ChatGPT is still good for
Plenty. It is a strong assistant for the business side of being a creator, where nothing explicit is involved:
- Planning a content calendar or a themed week
- Drafting safe-for-work captions for Instagram, X or TikTok
- Working through pricing ideas and running the numbers
- Writing a polite reply to a brand, a bank or a landlord
- Summarising platform terms so you know what to read properly
Use it for that. The refusals start when the conversation turns to what your fans actually pay for.
The second problem: it isn't you
Even if a general assistant wrote explicit messages happily, it would still fall short, because a fan is paying to talk to you. A good reply has to:
- Sound like you, down to your slang, emoji and message length.
- Know your menu, so an upsell quotes your real prices.
- Respect your limits, so it never offers something you don't do.
- Follow the conversation, so it answers what he actually said.
A blank chat window knows none of this. You would have to explain yourself from scratch every time, and copy messages back and forth between two apps.
What a purpose-built tool does differently
Tools made for creator conversations start from the opposite assumption: that flirting and selling adult content is the job, done by an adult, on a platform for adults.
This is what we built Naughtii for. You set up a profile once with your persona, tone, price menu, hard boundaries and a few real messages in your own voice. Then, in any fan chat:
- On iPhone, you double-tap the back of your phone. The setup takes three taps and there is no app to install.
- On a computer, the Chrome extension does the same inside your inbox.
You pick a goal (chat, flirt, sell or say no) and get three replies in your voice. You choose one, edit it if you like, and send it yourself. Naughtii never sends anything for you and never logs into your account, which matters for the reasons we set out in Can you get banned from OnlyFans for using AI?
It is not a free-for-all. Your own boundaries are part of every draft, and some limits are fixed for every account, such as never agreeing to meet a fan in person.
How to choose, whatever you pick
Naughtii is not the only option, and we compared several in our look at the main OnlyFans AI tools. Whichever you try, ask four questions:
- Does it need my OnlyFans password? If yes, walk away.
- Does it send messages without me? That is automation, and the platform's rules are written against it.
- Does it learn my voice and limits, or use one voice for everyone?
- What happens to my conversations afterwards? Look for a clear statement on storage.
The bottom line
ChatGPT refuses your OnlyFans messages because it was built for everyone, and its long-promised adult mode has no launch date. Tricking it is unreliable and risks your account. Keep it for planning, captions and admin, and use a tool designed for creator conversations for the DMs themselves.
The aim is not to have software talk to your fans. It is to get a good first draft in your own voice, in seconds, and still be the one who presses send.
